Nude in Tahoe

 In Blog

Memorial Day is this coming weekend and for many people that is the unofficial start to summer.  Those people who have been around Lake Tahoe for the last month have already been enjoying the great weather we’ve been having.  Not only does Lake Tahoe offer boating, camping, hiking and bike riding during the summer, there are also some less known amenities, including nude beaches.

The legality surrounding these clothing optional beaches is what I call a legal “grey area.”  Lake Tahoe’s shoreline spans two states with two counties on the California side and three counties on the Nevada side.  In addition to state and county regulations, local cities and municipalities have their own set of codes and rules.  Therefore, the first question regarding legality is where is the beach located.

Below are a few websites with further information on Lake Tahoe’s nude beaches.
